St Mary’s Primary school have been involved in the Forest Schools project in conjunction with Mid Ulster Council as part of the Learning Without Walls initiative. This involved us taking part in lessons at Fivemiletown Roundlake where we learned about topics including camoflage and made houses and dens using natural materials.We learned about the importance of respecting nature and had the opportunity to work in groups led by staff from Mid Ulster Council.
